Fifty Shades Darker PDF
Fifty Shades Darker PDF is the second instalment in British writer E.L. James’ popular erotica trilogy. Since the release of the first book “Fifty Shades of Grey” in 2011, the books have swept readers in its highly addictive and sensual story between the young and beautiful Anastasia ‘Ana’ Steele and the brooding, devastatingly handsome Christian Grey. The two’s tumultuous and sensual relationship are told in all its juicy details with E.L. James Fifty Shades trilogy series.
In the second instalment of the Fifty Shades series, there is actually a lot less BDSM scenes as the readers are given deeper background on the characters themselves. Yes the erotic scenes are still peppered throughout the whole book, but readers now see more of the plot as it unravels in “Fifty Shades Darker.” In the last scene of the first book, Ana runs away from Christian and his ‘Red Room of Pain,’ as she battles with her inner self at the complexities of her relationship with Christian.
The often sadistic Christian Grey also mellows out a lot in this second book and in no time, he and Ana manages to get back together – this time on the grounds of trying to have a more real relationship. Christian and Ana’s contract is thrown out of the window as the latter now brings her to parties, yachts and dates. The first part of the book noticeably veers away from the BDSM nature of the two’s relationship, highlighting the burgeoning, real romance between the main protagonists.
The reader also finds out more about Christian’s dark past and who had actually made him into the masochist that he is today. Christian’s former partner also makes an appearance this time around and a confrontation between her and Ana takes place. Both women from Christian’s past wreak havoc on the two’s burgeoning real relationship. Add to that Ana’s continued inner battle regarding their relationship and you’ve got a recipe for the romantic story.
While many critics still prod at the prose of E.L. James books, certainly the fact that “Fifty Shades Darker” only ranked behind its original predecessor, “Fifty Shades of Grey” in most bestseller lists in both the US and the UK. Many girls and women readers flock to James’ book tours and are clamoring for more. It cannot be denied. The Fifty Shades fever is still definitely so much on.
Perhaps what really makes this series click is the fact that it combines both romance and intimate details into one. No matter how clichéd the story itself might seem or how unoriginal the prose may be, the series definitely has taken on a really intriguing theme. Erotica, written well or with enough charm at least, would always sell well. Undoubtedly, many publishers and writers have realized this with the success of James’ trilogy, as evidenced by the sudden influx of similarly themed novels that line up bookshelves these days. Fifty Shades has spawned a cult following in erotica and with the success of “Fifty Shades Darker,” it doesn’t seem to be waning. Yet.
